Eva-Maria
Ruhl holds degrees in English, French and German language and
literature. After a brief career in teaching, she now works full-time
as an artist from her studio in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She holds a
certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration from the Corcoran School
of Art and Design.
Her
works have been included in the Corcoran Gallery of Art exhibition
"Botanical Treasures of Lewis and Clark" and at the US Botanic Gardens
in DC. Her illustrations of plants will be included in book due to be
published in April of 2010. She is a member of the American Society
of Botanical Artists and of
Studio 155.
